It absorbs more carbon dioxide than trees and even pulls in nuclear toxins from the ground.

In fact, it doesn't even require heavy labor because of it's own ability to ward off the weeds. From seed to maturation in only 120 days and you can be wearing hemp clothing that will last longer than the competition. It is super absorbent and succumbs to ultra violet light, unlike others. So, your clothes won't fade as quickly, saving you money in the long run.

Hemp fibers can be used in stylish carpets, necklaces, purses, and so much more. It proves to be highly resistant to mold, mildew, and rot, safe guarding living spaces that implement products using the plants materials. When it is time to throw out the old, hemp will also biodegrade faster when compared to any of the other common products on the market.

That's a very real possibility. Perhaps, that bad reputation comes with a lack of information on the plant and its' positive attributes. We fear what we don't understand.

The common misconception is that Hemp production would encourage drug use. The plant, while in the same family as marijuana, is incapable of producing the level of THC that marijuana contains, which can be up to 20% or more, depending on the variety. Hemp is not a drug, but pure in its purpose.
